How to Make

  1. Fry the shallots and garlic until fragrant.

  2. Put the rice, water, lemongrass, bay leaves, salt and fried shallot-garlic into a pot or rice cooker.

  3. Cook until the water is almost absorbed, then place the salted fish and chillies on top.

  4. Lower the heat and cover until the rice is done.

  5. Stir gently and serve with the side dishes.
