How to Make

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, yeast and baking powder. Add the egg and warm water little by little while kneading.

  2. Add the margarine and salt and knead until soft and elastic.

  3. Cover and rest for about 1 hour until doubled.

  4. Knock back the dough and roll it 1.5 cm thick on a floured surface. Sprinkle with sesame and press gently.

  5. Cut into rectangles and rest for another 15 minutes.

  6. Fry in plenty of oil over low heat until both sides are golden brown. Drain.
