How to Make

  1. Rub the fish with lime and salt and grill until cooked with dry skin.

  2. Fry or grill the chillies and tomatoes, then grind with shrimp paste, salt and sugar.

  3. Mix the sambal with the tempoyak.

  4. Flake the fish roughly and mix with the sambal and coarsely mashed grilled eggplant.

  5. Serve with warm rice and vegetables to share.
