How to Make
Rub the fish with lime juice and salt, leave 10 minutes, then rinse to reduce the muddy smell.
Put the spice paste, coconut milk, leaves, lemongrass and asam kandis in a pot. Stir until it boils.
Add the fish and lower the heat.
Season with salt and sugar. Cook about 15 minutes without stirring too much so the fish stays whole.
Adjust the seasoning and remove from heat.
